Laramie Trip

Today, Janelle, my little sister, and I took a trip to Laramie. The point of this trip was to see if my landlord had completed the work he claimed to have done on my house before we paid August’s rent. Oh and to fix up the place for my sister’s boyfriend, who is supposed to live there for two weeks starting Friday.

When we arrived at my house, the front door was wide open. I figured they were probably working on it, so went in and looked around. No one was around. There was a huge mess, however. And none of the work my landlord claimed to have done was done. Janelle and I took photos of the mess. Pretty much, the carpet he said he’d replace was still there and same with the kitchen floor. I left a message on the door (after locking it shut!) for my landlord to call me, but guest what? No call.

Well, we are going to meet up with a good ol’ lawyor tomorrow to take some legal action. I’ll keep y’all posted on what goes down.
