Eviction Notice

This morning at 6:00am my scumbag landlord decided to post an eviction notice on my home in Laramie. This was due to the fact we hadn’t paid the rent, since he is not complying with the law… the law that says landlords have to keep their places in a safe and livable condition. My landlord has clearly not done this. Well, we paid up (I’d sent the check a few days ago, marking it payment under protest pending resolution of habitability issues), and he agreed to fix the stuff that makes it unsafe to live in the house (like the furnace and the hot water heater).

I’m pretty dirty pissed at him and let me tell you, never rent a place from I’ll name him at the end of the year. No, this is not slander, I’m just telling the truth. I’m just letting it be known that he is not an honest landlord. Simply the facts here (and this is just for entertainment purposes :)

Well, we are going to have a lawyer write him up, and inform him of the law, and the fact that we don’t have to pay three months of rent due to his inability to make the house a safe place to live. I’ll keep you all posted in this continuing drama.

1. Man, your landlord sounds like a bloody idiot. By the way, you spelled lawyer wrong. Its with an “e” not an “o”. But other than that, I would have beat the guy up. Hardcore! Peace out.
