Bee with Pollen
Canon G3, Close-up Diopters

I don’t think summer could possibly be complete without at least one macro of a bee buzzing around a flower, spreading pollen as he goes. This guy was absolutely covered in pollen and more than willing to let me snap a few shots off.

Bee Redux

I couldn’t decide which of these I liked more. I like them both, but for different reasons. On the second one, I really like the out of focus right half of the flower. Something about the softness of it really attracts me.

In completely unrelated news, I finally listed my site at photoblogs after ambib suggested it. I guess it really was about time. So hit it up and vote!
