Well hi there. I can’t pinpoint what I’ve been upto the past few days, but I have been upto something. I got the four rolls of film I’ve shot here developed. Wow, can’t wait to scan these. I guess I’ll have to stick with shots from months ago for now. Come back in just over three months and I’ll show you pictures of Europe.
But so the picture above. I wanted to go to Lollapalooza this summer, had tickets and everything. Then they went and cancelled the whole tour. So, my younger sister Janelle and I got tickets for Modest Mouse instead. Sure, we could have seen Modest Mouse and loads of other great bands if Lollapalooza hadn’t been cancelled, but we went with what was available.
The concert was good. Not fantastic. Not terrible. The opening act was some dude, a guitar and a bunch of pedals. Rather lame. But Modest Mouse was cool.
Yes, their set was too short. And too full of new songs. But it was good and I had fun. But really, they played almost everything off Good News For People Who Love Bad News. Yeah, it’s a good album, but it’s not The Moon and Antarctica, a brilliant album. But hey, they’re on MTV now, they have to appeal to that crowd.
Andy, you are the MTV crowd. Don't try to deny it.
Served!
