In new news, I just returned from Barcelona, Spain. A fantastic city; music, dancing and coast dominate.
I traveled there with four girls, three Taiwanese and one Turkish. It was a blast. Great people in a great city.
Very cool man. When you get back you'll need to show me how to scan well. I've been trying to use the film scanner in Ross Hall, but I'm not sure I'm getting things right.
Tyler, I used the scanner in Coe. I didn't know they have one in Ross Hall as well. Basically the pain in the butt thing is the post-processing. I find that the scans I get are really tinted blue, so I have to drain some of the blue saturation.
But also, the main thing that matters is the original film. This was shot on Velvia 50, a really fine grained, saturated slide film.
Dear Andy,
Laramie has gone to hell without you. I mean, there's no one to tell me what weird indie rock bands to listen to anymore, there's no one to teach us the way of the bodhisatva...or however that's spelled, and most of all, there's no one to make sweet love to Bryane. She's been a salty bitch all semester. Also, I need someone around to tell me when I'm being ridiculous. I also need someone around to peer pressure into drinking with me, and in turn get recockulous.
Have a good thanksgiving in Utrecht. If that's where you are.
