scene from the snowies

Skiing in the snowies

Never done a meme before since I consider them somewhat dumb, but what the hell…

Four (other) jobs that I’ve had:

I guess I should say that my current is is a teaching assistant.

  1. Research fellow
  2. Lifeguard
  3. Summer camp instructor
  4. Web designer (for some crappy company in Douglas and it was more like… hey, fix all the stupidity of these other guys)

Four little-known facts about me:

  1. I eat peanut butter straight from the jar
  2. I’m always up for an intellectual discussion (probably well-known)
  3. I’m allergic to cats and dogs, so I’ll never get one
  4. My sixth-grade math teacher told me I had no math concept (eh, I guess I shouldn’t have doubled majored in it then?)

Four city airports I have been to:

  1. Heathrow, London, UK
  2. O’Hare, Chicago, Illinois
  3. Sky Harbor, Phoenix, Arizona
  4. Ferihegy Airport, Budapest, Hungary (actually, I spent the night here on a bench)

Four favorite male actors:

I don’t really know about this one. I don’t really watch a whole lot of movies or television, so I’m changing it.

Four favorite male singers:

  1. Thom Yorke
  2. Jeff Tweedy
  3. Jeff Mangum
  4. Wayne Coyne

Four foods that I hate to love:

  1. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! (but I’m not ashamed)
  2. Hot dogs
  3. I don’t know, this is tough

Four web sites (not blogs) I visit daily:

  1. del.icio.us
  2. Gmail
  3. andycurtis.tadalist.com (my homepage actually)
  4. E*Trade (but not everyday)

Four things I want to do before I die:

  1. Design a sweet row house and move in
  2. Put together a totally awesome stereo so my buddies can come over, get in the right state of mind and listen to tunes
  3. Try at least 500 kinds of beer
  4. Get a PhD

Four people I’m tagging:

Eh, no one. The buck stops here. Ok… thanks to Dasha for tagging me.

  1. Andy I like Peanut Butter too. I like it best when mixed with either honey, bananas, kiwis, applesauce, almost anything on toast. MMMMMmmmm. yeah I totally want a little right now! Well maybe a little tomorrow.

  2. That photo is scary. It makes me feel like something terrible is about to happen. I'm listening to Amon Tobin, so I'm sure that’s adding to the effect.

  3. Now, that wasn't so hard was it? I'm sure there are good stories that came along with the summer-camp instructor job. I did that for YMCA of the Rockies a few years back, and have some fond memories.
