Day 1: Nebraska and Iowa

Last week, I moved from Colorado to Delaware. Don’t worry, this move is temporary, the result of a summer internship doing software engineering. Above, is a shot from western Nebraska. Desolate and mostly truckers on the road.

As you can tell, I was having a blast driving for just over 10 hours each day!

No extended trip would be complete without wheels.

And here’s the skyline of Omaha, Nebraska, as seen from Iowa. Who knew so many people lived in Nebraska? Not me, and I sure wouldn’t want to live there.

So, I started out in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and journeyed to Des Moines, Iowa, this day. Was a long, boring day, and I still had two full days of driving ahead.
