The life of an academic is a wild ride. Having worked nearly constantly for the past three weeks, the semester has finally ended and I’m left tired and beat down. But the true beauty of the academic life is the change of pace three times a year. Now, past the frenetic end of semester rituals, I have time to stop and think for a change. Summer is the time of research, writing and relaxing, I’m glad it’s here.
