Kwang-Yin and Tien-Ying in Budapest

Portrait of Tien-Ying and Kwang-Yin in Budapest

It was a rather gray, drab day. The inside of the church was swell. Pretty. Colorful. In the surrounding cemetary lay many bodies. If you can call them bodies when they’ve been in the ground for hundreds of years. At what point is it ok just to call them dirt with a tombstone marking it?

I asked them to sit on the church steps and nonchantly look away from me. One exposure to get it right. Perhaps I’ll learn the multiple exposure lesson someday. I think KY and TY were a bit hesitant to do as I asked; I like the outcome though, I hope they do too.
